Leukemia Fund-Raiser on April 19 in Hermosa Beach
Angela Park and her Team in Training friend Courtney Gillette are putting together a fund-raiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society on Thursday April 19 from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. The event has a $20 cover charge and a portion of drink sales will go toward the event. The event will feature a DJ and two bands, drink specials, free hors d’oeuveres. There will be a silent auction including a week stay in a villa in Palm Springs valued at $1500. 75% of money raised will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society and the remaing 25% will go toward the training and program. Hermosa Beach celebrating 100 years
Hermosa Beach is beginning the Centinnial Events on Sunday January 14, 2007. There will be a ribbion cutting ceremony at 2;30pm at 710 Pier Ave. west of the community center.
State of the City Mayoral Address at the Beach House at 5:00

Little League in Manhattan Beach starts special needs team
The program is set up for girls and boys in age from 5 to 18 are eligible to participate. The games are coach-pitched and voluteer high school students will buddy up with palyers to help them make the plays and run the bases.
